Adventurous Phoenix Engagement Session

Brenna and Chase, a couple of upper midwest lovers, dreamed of jetting off somewhere warm for their engagement session. We explored options in Southern California, Colorado, and Utah before ultimately deciding on Phoenix, AZ. AND IT WAS PERFECT!

There are so many places in and around the Phoenix area that are popular engagement session spots. But we wanted to try something new, and this adventurous couple was eager to do that as well! So we drove about 35 minutes out of the city to this epic location!

Bulldog Canyon, Phoenix, AZ

The PERFECT combination of mountains and desert. Bulldog Canyon was the exact southern landscape they were looking for! There was so much room to roam around the park and we had it basically to ourselves! And c’mon these saguaro cacti are MASSIVE!

At first the sun was playing shy and hid behind a thin layer of clouds but we were stoked when suddenly, she snuck out from hiding and we were able to get some beautiful sun flares!

The best sessions are ones where you can let loose and let your love shine!

We often preach that engagement sessions are less of an appointment and more of a date night! You should feel like you’re a couple of grade school kids running around and flirting with each other while we simply sit back and take photos of all that magic!

Ending the session with some vibey flash portraits is ALWAYS A MUST!
